Welcome to the website of the Energy Division of the Ministry of Finance, Economic Affairs & Energy.

The Energy Division was established in 1978 and is responsible for natural resources development; renewable energy; the Barbados National Oil Company Ltd; the Barbados National Terminal Company Ltd; and the National Petroleum Corporation.

Minister of State, Senator the Hon. Darcy W. Boyce, has responsibility for the Ministry.

Mr. William Layne, Permanent Secretary, is the chief advisor to the Minister and administers the business of the Energy Division.

The Natural Resources Division is headed by Mr. André Brathwaite, Director.
